Presentation strikes of Fath 'Ali Shah in both silver & gold were struck almost exclusively at Tabriz, despite the fact that the Qajar capital was located at Tehran.

MUGHAL: Babur, 1526-1530, AR shahrukhi (4.75g), NM, AH921, A-2462.1, unique, ruler’s name Muhammad Babur within ornate central cartouche, full clear date beneath obverse field, style of Qandahar mint, couple testmarks, mount neatly removed, VF, RRR.

Type unknown to Aman ur Rahman in his recent publication of Babur's coinage. The style resembles later issues of Qandahar. This is the first reported coin of Qandahar style struck prior to Babur taking the title al-Ghazi after his victory at Kanwa in AH933. An important coin.
