Item No. 125886 Allan, John, A Catalogue of the Indian Coins in the British Museum: Coins of Gupta Dynasties and of Sasanka, King of Gauda, Originally published 1914 (British Museum reprint of 1967), 181 pages, 24 plates in good quality, hardcover with dust jacket. Altekar's work replaces this informationally & is more comprehensive, but this is still a good collection and the photo record is worth having even at reprint quality. The 1967 London reprint is better than later India reprints. |
