Item No. 92808 UMAYYAD: lead fals (1.24g), al-Bahrayn, ND (ca. AH120), A-R153, la ilah i- / -lla Allâh obverse, bi'l-bahrayn thumma reverse, stylistically identical to A-Q153 dated AH120, Fine to Very Fine, RRR. Reportedly acquired by an oil worker in al-Bahrayn in the 1950s or 1960s. One of 9 specimens discovered, of which only four were fine or better. |
