SASANIAN KINGDOM: Khusro II, 591-628, AR drachm (4.02g), AHM (Hamadan), year 3, G-209, with horizontal lines instead of the standard form of the wings on type G-209, lovely portrait, EF, R.

This is the early version of this type, with distinctive wing decorations, fine style, mostly dated year 2, sometimes year 3. The engraving quality was excellent, but at some point during year 3, a much more primitive die-cutting process was adopted, only to be replaced in the year 11 with the final type, once again of fine style, and with different hats on the fire-attendants.
