The couplet on the obverse reads 'Struck coin in the world through the grace of the Bountiful one, King of Kings, Muhammad Ibrahim.' He was the last of the four puppet emperors placed on the throne by the Sayyid Brothers. He was the third son of Bahadur Shah I.
