One month later, the Austrian Mint responded with a price quote of $555.00, plus $11.51 shipping charges from Europe. The counterstamping was done by Stange Manufacturing Co., Inc. in St. Louis, Missouri, in January 1964. Only 457 of the original Austrian Mint order were counterstamped.
